Why is the total payable higher than the price displayed?

For users from the EU, there is a difference corresponding to VAT

If you are domiciled in the European Union, the price you pay will be higher than the price displayed on the product page, as you will have to add VAT (around 20%, depending on your country). As indicated on the product page, the price is displayed exclusive of VAT, and the amount including VAT is calculated in the shopping cart.

Unfortunately, we haven't yet found an ideal solution for effectively displaying the total price including VAT directly on the product page, depending on the user's country of origin.

More information on the EU website.

Note for non-EU users: if you are domiciled outside the European Union, you are not subject to VAT. The price to be paid will therefore be the displayed price excluding VAT.
